Principleasure, based in Los Angeles but originally hailing from the UK, draws influence from classic cinematic electronica meddled with unique modernist sound design. Appearing on labels like Fool’s Gold and Modular, remixing for Moby or Robyn, Raoofi is a veteran of the industry with a deep knowledge of the medium.
He released his excellent album "I" in 2019, won Mixmag's Electro “Album of the Month” title and dominated Bandcamp's Electronica chart, before releasing the follow-up "2" album, two years later.
A self-styled “backward technologist” he has featured in Future Music magazine, FACT, T-Mobile’s Electronic Beats series, worked with Red Bull Music Academy and designed presets for Roland’s TR-8S and System-8 instruments.
