9th Cloud mixes and compose a creative & spontaneous groovy abstract hip hop, fed with sonorities coming from jazz and funk spirit which are musics genre that gives a large room for creative moments and interpretations.

Coming to turntables from techno & hardtek, it's in hip hop music, which technics are more in phaze with his own creative personality, that 9th Cloud find his musical expression way.

Besides scratch learning, he has been evolving since 1999 toward composition and takes times to get used to production technics. Warm stuff rotating on his turntables: A tribe called quest, CAM, Pete Rock... Then will come the discovery of an emotional dimension through Blues, Trip Hop, DJ shadow and Krush.

In 2001, he founds the Monkey House posse with 2 friends. The objective is to put in common hardware, inspirations and creative exchange. In 2004, 9th Cloud's solo album "A monkey in a yellow hat" is the 1st LP from the posse.
