DJ Hitch started DJing in 1996 with DJ Toxik (Soul Explosion). They then formed the "THC" crew, and took part of many artistic projects within the underground Hip-Hop scene in Paris (La Kaste, TJPM, Bazoo.K...). In 1998, he takes mixing and scratching lessons at the French DMC DJ school, and gets noticed by D'Jill who will make him his protégé.

In the meantime, he makes guest appearances on Génération 88.2 radio, in DJ Bronco's show (Rare Groove). His appearances will have the radio's director of programming, Dj Kaze (Logilo Prod) schedule a weekly show, "Quoi 2 neuf BB" (in French What's up baby) along with Zoxea (4 My People) and Tashy. Then for 2 years, Hitch will host his very own hip-hop radio show, "1200 Ohms" every Saturday from 9-11pm.

In 1998, DJ Hitch becomes an official teacher at France's DMC DJ School, where he will work for 9 years. He eventually became the school director when D'Jill left in 2001. He also releases "Skratch Tape Master" volume 1 and 2. These mixtapes feature the top French DJs/turntablists :Crazy B, Dj Mouss, AM, Djel, Djay K, Magicut, Lil Mike and many more. Later, he will work as a consultant "Only for DJs" and "DJ Mix" magazines. He will also help writing the book "Les bases du DJing" (Eyroles éditions).

DJ Hitch is also an entertainer and a live performer. He has toured with Puzzle (Logilo Prod), Rockin'Squat (Assassin production), Widow Prizum (New York), Daara J (Sénégal), Kohndo (ex La Cliqua), Mauvais Signe, MAD, Dimak, Gabystyle just to name a few...

In 2006, Hitch turns to jazz with the band Nojazz with whom he will go on tour (France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, the US, Canada...). He is also often called on to attend TV shows and share his knowledge on the art of DJing, and played a DJ in the film "Dans tes rêves" (Disiz la Peste, Béatrice Dalle, Jean Pierre Cassel...).

2006, DJ Hitch makes it to the "Hall Of Fame" of DJs and receives a gold record from Wilfrid de Baise for everything's he has done for the international DJ community. This award has been given to French DJs such as DJ Netik, C2C, BNN, Cut Killer and DJ Abdel (Double H), and D'Jill.
