Haya Waska is a DJ whose musical influences are numerous and varied. Always looking for new sounds and new styles, her first contact with electronic music is achieved through hardcore and hard techno. At the same time, she discovers other kinds of electronic musics, like electro dub, breakbeat, drum n' bass, jungle and trance.Those sounds have a real magical impact on her, like no other « traditional » music. Machines and samples speak to her!  

Though a music lover, she would not have imagined that one day she would be the one behind the decks. In 2006 she spends a year in England and during her nights out, she meets some DJs of the local scene who introduce her to the technics of mixing. But on her return to France, no turntables, she will have to wait...  

In 2009 she can afford her own material, at last. Some vinyls later, she moves to Tours and from that moment, everything goes fast. In this new town, she also meets Djs. One of them, Alexandre Bern, asks her to come and play during the « Freaky Mix » broadcast on Radio Béton. The gamble paid off for the DJ and her friend: listeners loved her set. Now, Haya Waska plays in several places in town and anywhere she is invited to, always in a good mood, always wanting to bring good vibes and make people dance. 

She has also decided to commit herself seriously to the technics of scratch. This art has always aroused interest in her and she really thinks turntablism is not complete without this technic. So she is currently taking scratch lessons and is firmly decided to get the best technics and include them in her sets.
