A-kut comes from Geneva, Switzerland, got his first decks in 2006 at the age of 16 then got into learning how to mix for a year. A-kut got interested in scratching at the age of 17, when he heard some unfamiliar music and sounds during a party. 

One day, as he was watching videos on the internet; A-kut was amazed by Netik’s performance during the DMC World in 2006. Being interested in Hip-Hop, this video made him understand that the Hip-Hop and turntablism was the genre that suited him the most. 

After this day, he forgot about mixing and focused on scratching; at that moment he understood that turntablism was very difficult. 

He practiced intensively between 2008 and 2010; during that period he developed a good level allowing him to win small competitions on the internet.  At that time he has understood that turntablism was a real passion.  

He has done shows and live performances with three of his friends; however they were freestyle demonstrations that took place outside.

He has not been very active in the battle world, but decided to come out and compete in competitions. He then won the 2010 DMC title in Baden and became the best Swiss scratcher. 

He keeps practicing with the same pleasure and wants to progress during the further years.
