In conjunction with the best audio interfaces on the market, MixVibes allows DJs to access the lowest latencies to match the needs of the best turntablists and scratchers.

You can now use MixVibes at a 32 samples buffer rate in association with an RME RPM sound interface to attain a 0.3ms latency! Never before had a Digital Vinyl solution offered a scratch feel this close to genuine analog vinyl.

VFX2 is the new video engine of MixVibes PRODUCER, allowing video mix with a lot of transitions and effects.
You can also mix 4 videos together.

MixVibes PRODUCER sampler contest with DJ Troubl’ exclusive material

MixVibes presents its PRODUCER Sampler Contest, a contest to elect the best 1 minute video performance on MixVibes PRODUCER. Contestants will be given 2 exclusive breakbeats from DJ Troubl’s (http://www.myspace.com/djtroubl) latest Dub a Breaks in high quality mp3 and a pack of royalty free scratch samples to perform with MixVibes PRODUCER. The participation is free and open to DJs and Producers of all levels of experience.

1st place: 1 DVS PRODUCER + 1 U46MK2 sound interface + 1 Korg PadKontrol
2nd place: 1 DVS PRODUCER
3rd place: 1 DVS PACK MK2

How to enter the contest

Register on the MixVibes forum

Download the Sampler Contest Pack. It contains Royalty free audio samples, 2 exclusive breakbeats from DJ Troubl’s Dub a Breaks (unreleased in digital format) and a DEMO version of MixVibes PRODUCER (you have to be registered on the forum to download the pack)

Prepare your MixVibes PRODUCER performance

Use DJ Troubl’s exclusive dub’a break breakbeats and the royalty free sample pack to create your DJ performance. Refer to the video tutorials to learn more about the basic and advanced features of MixVibes’ PRODUCER Sampler. You will be judged on a 1 minute performance on Mixvibes PRODUCER. You are allowed to use all of PRODUCER’s features: sampler, effects, VST instruments. MIDI Controllers are allowed, but you also use your laptop keyboard to control the sampler or launch loops and effects. Sorry no vinyl or CD allowed in this contest.

Film and upload your MixVibes PRODUCER performance

The video must include a view the MixVibes PRODUCER interface and your hands in action. Make sure the audio and video quality is decent as it will be taken in account in electing the best video. Upload your video on Youtube (or another free hoster)

Post your video on the MixVibes forum

The jury is composed of the MixVibes moderating team, the MixVibes DJ Team and DJ Troubl’. The performance will be judged on 4 criteria: creativity, skills, use of multiple features and quality of the audio/video performance. Make sure the video looks good and post your link in this topic:

Summary

MixVibes will release a new video engine very soon for Producer version. This new video engine will be compatible with a lot of video recorders.

New features:

- logo and text modules with transparency, text resizing and positioning, automatic scrolling
- new effects and transitions which will be added up to the 22 actual presets
- integrated video codecs for a better stability, speed, display quality and processor ressources
- video playback on 4 players at the same time
- compatibility with a lot of video formats
