Where can I find information about the latest known issues and fixes?

The best way to get updated on the latest issues and fixes is to either look at the change-logs on the store pages of our apps, or to join our Discord where we update users periodically on what's new in our apps.

Are the Samples royalty-free?

The loops and samples provided in Remixlive are royalty-free, meaning you can use them in your own productions. However, you cannot resell the sample pack or individual samples, only use those samples in your own songs.

We recommend that users who create music using samples from Remixlive's library make their songs as unique as possible. We've had instances where songs created by users were flagged for copyright infringement on platforms like YouTube or Spotify. This typically happens when the song is simply playing some of of the loops from the pack, or closely resembles the preview of the pack available in our store. If another user has already uploaded a similar track, the content might be automatically flagged by the platform's content ID or copyright system.

While this is beyond our control, it does not change the fact that the samples in Remixlive packs are royalty-free.

Can I use MIDI controllers and which ones?

Both Remixlive and Cross DJ are compatible with MIDI hardware. You can also map your own controllers in Remixlive using the MIDI mapping feature (it will work as long as your controller is compatible with the device you're running Remixlive on).

You can find the complete list of compatible hardware for both software.
